Matt and Casey fall in love. However, Casey suffers from severe depression, and is hospitalized for a suicide attempt. Matt, helps her escape, and they head toward Mexico. Casey, though Matt wishes to believe otherwise, still has a mental illness and begings to experience the depression again. After another suicide attempt, they return to Seattle and their families, where Casey is able to recieve help for her condition.
